Games Technologies - hardware, software, and design principles - have become pervasive throughout many sectors beyond the Games Industry itself. A Lecturer in the Games group at Coventry University, Dr. Will Blewitt will host a whistle-stop tour of just a few of the many applications of those technologies, from gamification of social media, to medicine, to high performance simulations and heterogeneous computing. This will be followed by a brief Q&A.
